Homework sucks.
Darn, chionging like mad now.
Tests are next week, and im so nervous i might start to shake very soon.
Why do we have so many tests anyway?
Give us so much stress. Blah.
I hate tests. Especially maths and chinese.

At least there's one thing to make the tension smooth out a little.
CENTRAL CAMP!
Went for the first camp meeting today and was pretty fun
planning and all.
Oh well.
LA essay is due tomorrow.
Maths file too.
Geography test is on Tuesday.
And maybe maths too?
Four Chinese readings to do
on boring ancient geezers.
Science test on Friday.
Its giving me the shivers.

Its the last day of CNY hols. I believe it is unnecessary to elaborate on wild and, uncivilised emotions with regards to this news.

Today I woke up late again. So wrong.
I should at least wake up early today to practice for tomorrow, right? Im gonna be a zombie tomorrow. What a shame! I guess I will be forced to pay less attention to interesting Lion Dance performances tomorrow. Shame.
Was doing homework in the afternoon when I got a call from Weiming.

M: Are you able to make it for Central camp?
H: Yupp!
M: Good! Thats good!
H: why?
M: Oh the camp commitee, you know, the leaders and all, have decided to make you camp commandent.

Oh my!
I was so shocked I tell you. I mean who would seriously choose quiet, un-enthu, shy and timid me to be the camp commandent?!
Ok that was a lie.

So well Weiming said I would basically be, like, the mouthpiece of the camp comm. Mouthpiece, remind you of someone? Chuckle. BUT, that also means I won't be in a group, and i don't know if I can participate in games. Bother.

I want to know who my Basketball angel is. I really do. But I suppose I must understand that finding my Angel means having to walk past the container classrooms, aka domain of the year fives.
Scary.

Oh glorious Chinese New Year holidays
stay with me forever
I shall grow fat and plump and
shall not care
for I love my sweet ,sweet
Chinese New Year Holidays.

Yeah. Im getting a little worried about my attachment to CNY hols. Glorious mornings of waking past 10 is not something a dunmanian should ever get used to. Ever.
Yeah well yesterday went visiting! Surprisingly I didnt consume as much goodies as i expected. Abit fan wei. I guess thats cos ive been stuffing up since weeks ago. Well not my fault all the vulnerable little jars of love letters & pineapple tarts are so foolishly placed within my reach. Not my fault at all. (shrug)
Met lots of cousins and aunties and uncles and who-knows-who. All the hoo ha was a little overwhelming and I sat down to enjoy my little chocolate. ''Bakwa is unhealthy and bad for you, don't eat it'' is stupid. People are simply jealous that their too ridiculously obese to gobble a piece of oily, fattening, burnt-as-charcoal, unhealthy though nonetheless absolutely delicious and utterly irresistable piece of red pork. Hah.
Oh well. Shan't waste too much time. Homework all done, its time to relax and soak in the nice warm bubble bath......ahhh.......

(*POP* goes the dream bubble)

Haven't been posting.
Blogger just had to make me upgrade.

Heroes.
Papa taped the past three episodes, and, since its the glorious Chinese New Year Holidays, what better time to catch up.
So we ate lunch and watched the show.
Its really super nice. Its like a really imaginative and well thoght up cross between CSI and X-Men.
The great thing is how all these people come from different ends of the globe. New York, Japan, Texas, India. Its really amazing how their lives are all intertwined and how great their powers can be.
So far i remember 6 powers. Clair, un-hurtable. She runs throgh fire, throws herself off buildings, stabs herself, mutilates her fingers, yet she feels absolutely no pain and the wounds heal almost immediately. Hiro something, Japan. Able to travel through and change the time and space continuem. Isacc, forsees the future and paints all of them out. Confused and frustrated with his powers, he falls into a state of depression. Peter, can walk on air, fly. number 5, can hear people's thoughts. number 6, has a highly destructive and violent spilt personality that can kill anything. Leads her to find out more about herself.

Its scary.
Think about it, could these things really occur? A phenomenon so powerful and destructive, that it changes the human race? A complete evolution of the human powers and mind, the beginning of a new age?
To me, this has a very high chance of coming true. Till now, humans are only using 20 to 30 percent of our brain. Perhaps geniuses, like Einstein, used about 40 percent. All it takes is for one person to discover a way to stretch the ability of our mind to one hundred percent, and we could do anything. Abilities that seem super human and impossible to our kind now, could possibly come true. At the rate technology is advancing, developing something like that could be possible in the next 100 years. Mankind could easily have super sharp senses, defy gravity, travel through time, space, and even dimensions. It would be a whole new world.

And when that happens, would this new breed of human beings really be heroes? Fighting for the good, using their powers to benefit others? Hunger for power is something so evident even now, and powers like those could easily be abused. In just so little time, the world we know could be destroyed by a new breed of humans, the future generation.
We would be like God.

Then again, God would never let something like that happen. That kind of power and supremacy is unique to God and God alone. If God wants the evolution to happen, it will, but if he does'nt, nothing any human can do will ever make that happen.
In the end it boils down to just one thing:
Thank God.
