Alright man, so BOND 07 YEAR TWO CAMP was one heck fun fun bo bo fun. Firstly my group was really quite cool, what with Felise and Jiemin and the like. Rah!

First day, we all took a ferry from some country club to the resort in Pulau Ubin. The ferry ride was so shiokk, what with the wind lightly carresing your face and the boat rocking and swaying on the waves. I remember seeing Terence sleeping cos i was sitting opposite him, haha.

Over there we met the resort and our AOs, or camp instructors. Our funny AO was none other than Wen Jie. Hes the one beside han lin in the picture. We met the buddy group too, group one. Then we all got into our groups to think of a group name, objective and design a flag. Well, as you all might have cared to notice, we were FEI FEI CLUB. Which means the club of plump people. And AO Aza was saying it was a fan club for him! Lola.

Man oh man, is the food good. I tell you, everyday we ate like Kings! (and queens) the food was seriously super duper nice and we were given a fairly large portion too.

That night, we went for a nightwalk, which is to me the most memorable event because it really bonded our group. We were given a map of Pulau Ubin, (which was misleading!) and we were supposed to follow the road in the deep darkness till we reached a point on the map. So, we let Terence lead, since he had been there before and was a scout. >.<>

Nevermind all that. :) anyway in the end we took a wrong turn and ended up on a forest path, which we walked on until the path became so super narrow, it was difficult to walk in a straight file. All this time, its dark. I was second in line, directly behind Terence. So he kept cutting off the tree branches. lol! But seriously, we really thought we were on the right path cos all the signs were right! In the end we entered a mangrove and it was really difficult to walk cos of all the crab houses (yes, we saw a few crabs) and cos the mud was so slippery. After walking for an hour or so, Wenjie was like "Sorry to tell you, you have reached a dead end, you have gone the wrong way. " OH.

Then Terence was so shocked and so was everybody. But of course we all told Terence it wasnt his fault, actually because of him our group had the most fun! :D So we walked back for another half hour or so, all the while singing. Yes, It was super fun. :)

That night the tent was an oven. We were roasting up! I really couldnt take it, so I scurried out and set behind my tent to enjoy the cool night air. Then Yijun came out and we talked for some time before going back in to that grill. Sigh.

Day two-

Got up so super early. 5:00, when we were actually only required to assemble at 6:45! Well well, no bothers. Felise and I went to sit on the see saw for a super long time, resulting in us being a little late inspite of the early rise. Breakfast was ooh, my chiku chiku! Yeah we eat good. The samosas were plain heavenly, and yeah!

Day two we did rafting! Which was really fun. Of course, our FFC mainly relied on Terence our dear scout who did all the knotting and planning. We just helped to carry the poles and stuff. :D Our raft formation was like a triangles, with 3 barrels in the center. Eventually, me, Jiemin, Rachel, Felise and I-cant-remember-who got on the raft, life jackets and all, and KABOOM the raft went sinking! We were all rather frantic and Terence was hurriedly tightening all the knots again. In the end, we decided that this won't do, and we hauled one whole barrel out. Impromptu , you say? Yes, but it worked! Our group managed to paddle half the lenght and back, though with some difficulty and a great amount of shrieking, deeming us the winners! 3 cheers for fei fei! :D

Then after lunch we headed for high ropes, which I had been waiting for for so long! Sadly, only Terence got to try it, before it started to rain, to our great dismay. :( But of course, it didnt bring us down. We all headed to the white camp where they were blasting music. Then they decided to do the mass dance and blasted jing wu men! Then it was like the whole lot of us went crazy, and the place became like some underage pub or something! After that they were playing even more songs like sexyback, smack that and my humps, and everybody was dancing and screaming!Then this guy Jackie from 2L was doing a solo and dirty dancing infront of everyone and was being plain sick, but man, we loved it. ;) In front of the teachers, gosh since when have we ever had a chance to show our teachers who we really are>? Haha. :)

Day 3-

Woke up with my back and left sleeve terribly damp. Felise suffered the same fate too. So we hurried tot eh toilet to get dry and change, before sitting on the see saw again. :) Felise and I love the see saw. Its like relieving childhood memories. :D We sat until our behinds were sore, then we went for breakfast.

After that we had the GREAT TEAM OLYMPICS. Not quite as fun, cos all our shoes were wet. There was this game where we had to fill a hole covered barel to a certain amount with water, whereupon all the guys stripped and used their tee shirts to collect water. Yeah, eww. Captain's ball was fun! I played first half, which resulted in me getting terribly sunburnt, :D and I wanted to go put sunblock after awhile, but the VP was liek , "dont bother! You're too red!" and we all laughed.

After that had lunch, then low ropes! Jianfengw as being super girly and he was screaming and screaming while his partner Weiqi was being so calm and steady. Haha, that was funny! Then Miss Tan decided to take a photo of his terrified face.

Rockwall. The second greatest thing I had been waiting for all camp. Since I missed high ropes, I made it a point to do rock climbing. Sadly they only allowed us to clime half way, cos they claimed something had happened.. Oh well. It was SUPER FUN! One day im gonna go rock climbing again and make it to the top. :D

The teachers were superrr sweet! Observing how horribly we had suffered in our tents, they scraped together enough money to put us all in chalets!!! Of course we were all super high and happy! After we moved in, we had dinner then campfire. I was super frantic cos I lost my camp tshirt! then i was so scared and worried cos I was gonna stick out. Thankfully, Mr Shawn Lim was so kind and went all the way back to the teachers' chalet to give me a spare one. Kind Kind Mr Lim!

The AOs had put together a slideshow of all the photos taken the past 3 days, and we were all laughin at them! There was one silly one of Lihui being spiderman, and she looked so cute! They also caught Andrew sleeping. :D haha! Then we all had cornettos from the teachers (!) and we did our group performances. The BBALL GUYS went mad. Serious;y! Stephen was jumping and jumping and dancing like crazy, and Chun Seng did this super hot solo where everybody went WHOA!! Yeah I wish the guys would keep it coming everyday!

Then we sang this super touching zhi zu where we all put our arms around each other and watched a picture slideshow. Then we did the MASS DANCE and everyone went crazy agin! Like some crazy beach party!

Then the best part of all- they let us get back in our classes and we were all screaming and hugging each other and some people nearly cried. I think its only thru a camp like this that you will understand how much you love and miss your class. :D Anzio is so sweet, and Mr Ng is so funny.

Anyway that night we all had a superr long bath in each of our chalets. 10 people per chalet, 2 toilets per chalet! We all felt really nice, then after that Me Jiemin and Felise stayed up to watch Austin Powers until 2 plus. I was sleeping upstairs, and the bed was so comfy and the aircon so cold. Ahhh. :)

Day 4-

Book out day! They let us wake up at 8 and we all had a nice breakfast before doing cleaning up, followed by checking out. Back in Singapore, a few of us Anzio females met at Punggol and went to Compass point for lunch. We wanted to go to KFC, but it was full and apon stepping in we came face-to-face with a whole lota Dunmanians, including funny little Sherman. So we went to Yoshinoya, and man, the beef is gooooooood. :D

I had to rush for dental appointmen after that. Finally at 5 plus, home sweet home.

I love my year two comrades.
