1 Corinthians 13:4-7
"Life is to be fortified with many friendships. To love and to be loved, is the greatest happiness of existence"
Sydney Smith
"There is no surprise more magical than being loved; it is God's finger on man's shoulder."
Charles Morgan
"Treasure the love you receive above all. It will survive long after your gold and good health have vanished."
Og Mandino
"Love like, rain, can nourish from above, drenching couples with a soaking joy. But sometimes, under the angry heat of life, Love dries on the surface and must nourish from below, tending to its roots, keeping itself alive."
Mitch Albom, the five people you meet in Heaven
Well, that's Valentines come and gone. It was a good valentines I guess - I'm glad I managed to write valentines for my class buddies and the whole cell. Well, almost. (Sorry Tiziana!) It makes me happy to make others feel loved, to make others feel special, because I know its painful when you dont get anything special on a day set aside to celebrate love.
Thank you to all of you who made an effort to make my day special - whether in school, in church or at home, even a simple hug, a simple message or "Happy valentines day!" never failed to brighten my day. Thank you Shirleen, for being a best date for valentines!
Anyway here are the pictures from the "class dinner" at Gd ol' times - a peranakan restaurant in quaint changi village. Even though it was just the few of us, it was good!
By the way, our class name is 4 DESPERATE DUCKIES DEVOURING DUMPLINGS.
