This morning I watched a programme on History Channel about the Big Bang theory.
Its absurd, really, to see supposedly learned men dressed to the nines and with graying hair dedicate their entire lives to the development and conception of the theory, scrambling and fighting to shoot down the questions and counter-mysteries that continually pop out, when a young kid like me can tell them how the earth was created in 3 minutes.
Simple lah, God did it!
The programme talked about how the big bang was explanation for the formation of the elements. Even if that is somewhat believable, how could an unplanned, uncontrolled collision of the cosmos produce a hundred different species of plants and animals, and more importantly, unique individual beings like us you tell me.
I feel quite sorry for the scientists who spent their entire lives digging for more clues and evidence, cos its nothing really. Want to know more? Genesis chapter 1 & 2, the creation of the world as we know it in 3 pages.
Service was pretty good yesterday, despite the biting cold (ohma!). My feet were all numb and funny. I paid full maximum attention as best I could and found that when you do that you get quite alot out of sermons. During the 10 min break before the video I was planning to rush out where I could find some warmth but had to collect 3 dinner dollars from everyone instead, so. I think they switched the air con off after that though!
Combined cell games with Central two. Was quite fun, but after awhile playing hui lai ba I realised I hadn't moved my butt for a long time! That's what happens when you play HLB with too big a group I guess, but still it was fun to scream and laugh and see Jayna hop around like a chicken.
I asked Sherwyn Tan to get the accs pullover for me ($21!) but he has the strange notion that his school is funding terrorist movements out there and buying the pullover would mean indirectly supporting terrorists too, so I guess i dont get my pullover.
(: Ushers camp in june! cant wait hope gazillions that ma will let me skip tuition for those 3 days.
Hey you,
Yes you,
watch out for swine flu.
And the heat, yes the heat! The weather's been slightly kinder this week but sometimes when I sit in the living room at night brushing my teeth in the sweltering heat, I really think global warming is hot on our heels.
Bah, God bless.
