Whaddaya know .. Sherlyn and I signed up for hiphop lessons!!
As I was logging in to blogger I was feeling really excited about this and in all my self-conjured excitement I accidentally added an exclamation mark to my password and had to retype it all over again.
I feel really good about myself for signing up for this, I feel so accomplished because I am finally taking a step to a dream. This is especially commendable because I have been talking about, planning and getting all excited over signing up every holiday for the past three years but never really got down to it. Now im in it with Sher so im sure its going to be awesome fun and we shall be pro dancers soon!!
Nah, its just ABC - Absolute Beginners Class (:. At studio Wu, SMU, so its easy to get there and thank god i actually have a direct bus home. A rare occurance, as fate shall have it.
Before I began this post I was looking through Shir's M1 chalet pics but then I saw the "91 out of 200" on top and lazy me decided it was simply too much for my attention span.
I have so much to talk about, three weeks or so's worth, to be precise. The holiday has been pretty awesome so far, except I find it extremely irritating to have that nagging little thing at the back of your head going "Homework...... HOOOOOMEWOOORK!!" every single moment youre supposed to be having fun. But nonetheless these three weeks are absolutely glorious compared to gnirob days of planting my butt on my little yellow chair in class and listening to teachers droning on and on and on.
Ushers camp was great - after being absent for two years this year's camp really brought me closer to the other ushers, hi vicky you were awesome campmate :D
DIAMONDS RULE!
Bimbo cheer (of mine, thank you thank you) practically dominated whole camp, Josiah was the star and gosh, does that boy just love flaunting his stuff. Highlight had to be the campfire, sang myself hoarse (Cant beat you, Jon) and danced and pranced and ate and ..... played Dont Forget The Lyrics! I dont watch the actual show but something in my gut tells me the real contestants dont exactly have to stomp around a campfire chanting HUGASHAGA at the top of their voices before being allowed to actually sing. All in good fun, all in good good fun!
Thambi's day off was cheer too, despite the sweat and the momentary muscle aches. Joanne, Vic, Eu and I practically swept and mopped mearly the whole church, but it was actually fun, and we got to cam-whore alot alot. Okay we did that at the start, but towards the end everyone was just abit too pumped out to do anymore of that.
Kudos to Renee's cam. Front cameras rock, period.
Last thing on usher's camp, the aircon in our room was crazy okay. Bonkers. From 25 deg or so it would steadily drop to about 17 deg in the middle of the night, leaving us poor things curled up in our sleeping bags (that did not offer quite enough insulation) like .. like .. what do you call butterflies before they hatch out of a cocoon? Oh, worms in a cocoon, whatever.
Sentosa with central three was fun, but somehow I felt like it wasnt maximum fun as it could be, but pro caused I got there real late anyway (after all the fun parts, so they tell me). Ronald and Sam Lim were very kind to drop by to help, and Ted and I actually tricked them both that his honey lemon drink was actually sourplum and ginger. You should have seen Sam Lim's reaction.
Mummy insists that sentosa's beach waters are haunted and so Hazel and I weren't allowed in further than to half our shins. Dang, but the sand was nice too anyway and I got to take lots of candid photos of the boys playing underwater rugby. Hah!
I really, truly, wanted the extension of holidays, but I suppose that means more people have to come down with h1n1 and I really dont want to see any more of my friends have to check into hospital. Get well soon to you all!
4 days to school, but fret not, we shall.
ARGH!
